I am a scenic and lighting designer based in Los Angeles, trained at California Institute of the Arts.
My practice begins with story. Understanding the internal logic of a text, the architecture of its world, and what the space needs to hold before a single line is drawn. The goal is to translate that structural understanding into physical and visual form. Minimal in surface, dense underneath.
Having worked as a lighting electrician alongside my design work, I know production from the floor up. That ground-level knowledge stays in the room when I design.
